April 17, 2007 ~ TUESDAY ![]() I still cannot believe that I have won Adult Nationals. I wish I could have had a better skate. What I have learned from this is for me to attack the program always, even when you think youre safe. I actually wasn't thinking anything during my warmup and the time I was waiting to skate. I knew what I had to do and for some reason the fight wasn't there. Well I'm glad that this happened, because now I can re-group and set my mental state differently. The only things I had fault with was the flip/loop - from not paying attention, camel/attitude - I was off balance when I rose up from the camel {of course I could have practiced it more}, salchow/toe-loop - I intended to do this at the end of the program {since it was the easiest for me}, and the backscratch spin - I felt too tired to even get into it. So where does all of this leave me? What will my plans be next season? I will be staying at the Silver level for one more year. I would love to win it again. Of course I must have an axel, so I will try my best to get it back. {I just have a headblock with that jump} Then by Fall of 2008, I am hoping to have passed my Gold MIF and Free, and start to compete at the Gold level. 2007-04-17 19:20:43 GMT
